Julie is a fourth-generation Arizonan who has lived in Paradise Valley for nearly 30 years. She attended Arizona State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, magna cum laude, and a law degree, cum laude.

Julie is a co-founder of PSGM Law and has over 30 years of experience as an employment, construction, and OSHA lawyer representing companies, the State of Arizona, and local governments. She has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Arizona Court of Appeals. Additionally, she is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

Julie Pace currently serves as a Paradise Valley City Council member. She was elected in 2016, and is serving her second term. She was elected as the vice mayor in 2020.
