Pam Little is a fifth-generation Texan who was raised in Bryan-College Station and graduated from Texas A&M University and the University of Houston. She currently resides in North Texas with her husband, Larry, and is a proud mother of two and grandmother of four.

Pam Little is currently the Vice Chair of the State Board of Education. She has over 25 years of experience working with the SBOE, including roles as a community college instructor and a retired educational publishing executive. She retired as regional vice president of Houghton Mifflin Publishers.
