Marc is from Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his bachelor's degree in mass communications from Texas Wesleyan University. He and his wife, Tonya, have 1 son.

Marc Veasey currently serves as as the U.S. Representative for Texas' 33rd Congressional District. He was first elected in 2012 and is serving his sixth term. He previously serves as a state representative for Texas House District 95 for 4 terms from 2004 to 2012.
