Kelly W. Heath has been a resident of Asheboro since 2006. She is a current board member for Lydia's Place and the Randolph Asheboro YMCA. She is a member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church of Christ. She is married to her husband, Sam.

Kelly is a retired professional. She worked at Randolph Community College from 2010 to 2023. For 10 years, she was the Special Assistant to the President for Events and Projects. Before that, she served as a Grant Writer/Event Coordinator in Institutional Advancement and as the Director of Occupational Extension in Workforce Development and Continuing Education.
