Keith Huffman is from Morganton, North Carolina. He has a bachelor of science degree in organizational management from Colorado Christian University. He lives with his wife, Terri, and their son, Steve, in Valdese. He attends the Waldensian Presbyterian Church.

Keith is a retired federal civil service employee. He worked at the Office of Inspector General, U.S. Dept of HUD, for 22 years as a management analyst. He also served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a senior master sergeant.
