Brandon Longo is from Holly Ridge. He is married to his wife Heidi and has three daughters. He attended Coastal Carolina Community College and has certifications as a Firefighter II, EMT, Inspector II, Instructor II, and Fire Officer III.

Brandon is the Fire Chief of Holly Ridge Fire and Rescue. He started his career in firefighting at the age of 16 as a volunteer with Turkey Creek Fire & Rescue. When he turned 21 and after achieving his EMT certification, he moved to Holly Ridge Fire & Rescue, located in his hometown of Holly Ridge. Around the same time, he became a paid firefighter at Camp Lejeune. In 2012, he became the Chief of Holly Ridge Fire and Rescue and still holds that position today.
