Tyree Goodlett is currently the city council member. He was first elected in 2016 and has been in office for two terms.

Tyree works as merchandising coordinator for residential business at The Dixie Group since 2006. He also works at Dalton public schools as a middle school math teacher.

Tyree is a native of Dalton, Ga. He holds a degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. He is married and has two children. Tyree is a member of Rock Bridge Community Church.
