Farris Yawn graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a 45-year resident of Canton and Cherokee County. He was the president of the Historic Downtown Canton Association and was the Canton Main Street Program Board of Directors Treasurer.

Farris Yawn is the owner of Yawn Publishing LLC and Yawn’s Bookkeeping. Previously, he was a sales associate for First Cherokee Realty Inc. and the Collison Center Manager for Sandy Springs Toyota.

Farris Yawn was first elected to Canton City Council Ward Three in 2014. He is currently serving his second term.

Tracye is a two-time graduate of the Canton Police Department Citizens' Police Academy and volunteers on the public safety advisory board. She also studied management at Howard University.

Tracye is a personal and home protection safety educator and a certified firearms instructor.

Tracye Busbee's run for City Council Ward Three is her first entry into politics.
