Bobby is from Maysville, GA. He attended Banks County High School.

Bobby works at Shell McElroy Construction, where he currently works in commercial and residential construction. Bobby is a retired captain of the Commerce Fire Department. Bobby also works with the Eric Redmon Foundation. He also manages annual fundraisers benefitting local Boys and Girls Clubs, local families dealing with traumatic brain injuries, and the Ronald McDonald House of Atlanta.

Bobby Redmon is currently a city councilor representing the City of Commerce. He was elected in 2016 and has served two terms.
