Manfred is originally from Germany. He has a bachelor’s degree in informatics from the University of Applied Science in Darmstadt, Germany. He and his wife, Eva, have lived in Duluth for 21 years.

Manfred is a Senior Program Manager in Computer Server Development for Fujitsu.

Manfred Graeder is currently a city council member. He was first elected in 2021 and has been in office for one term.

Wants to alter "The Comprehensive Plan 2040 FORWARDuluth" to protect the tree cover and green spaces.

Supports creating a hiking trail through the city along the Chattahoochee River.
