Alex is a Georgia native. He has a bachelor of science degree in management from Georgia Tech University. He also has a master of business administration degree in finance from the Wake Forest University School of Business. Alex is a father of four children and currently lives with his wife in Peachtree Corners.

Alex is a senior director of finance. He works at Central Garden & Pet, where he has been for nine years. He previously worked at Zep Inc., Chemtura, Abbott Laboratories, Home Depot, NDC Health, Equifax, GlaxoWellcome. He served as an Officer in the US Navy.

Alex Wright is currently the Peachtree Corners city council member representing District 3. He was elected in 2012 and has served three terms.
