David resides on the east side of Roswell in the Country Club of Roswell neighborhood. In 2014, David moved to Roswell and has been happily married to his wife Nicole for 14 years. They are proud parents of three children aged six, five, and two. 

David grew up in Snellville, Georgia, and completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Georgia State University in 2005. He then earned a Master's in Medical Science from Emory University in 2007. He currently works as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant at Northside Hospital Forsyth and has been in the Northside Hospital system since 2007. He and his family currently attend Northpoint Community Church.

David was elected to the HOA Board in the Country Club of Roswell in 2019.

David Johnson’s campaign for Post 4 on Roswell City Council is his first entry into politics.
