Valdosta City, District 5

Tim was born in Bernice, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Darton College and has completed over 140 hours of UGA/GMA Municipal Elected Official Training. He is married to Clinton Carroll. He has a son.

Tim is retired. He founded and managed Farmers Home Furniture Co.

Tim Carroll is currently a city councilman representing district 5. He was first elected in 2008 and has been in office for four terms. He was Chairman of the Greater Lowndes Planning Commission and the Board of the Valdosta/Lowndes Co. Chamber of Commerce, and the co-Chair of the Georgia Military Affairs Committee.
