Tim Chason is currently a city board of education member at-large. He previously served as a member of the education board for two terms from 2003 to 2011.

Tim is the President at The Chason Group since 2003.

Tim is married and has one child. He is a member of Cartersville’s Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from The University of Georgia, as well as a master's degree in public administration from The University of Georgia.
