Steve is currently retired. He used to work for the Morgan County Building Inspector’s Office. He is the garbage collector for Buckhead.

Steve Bryant is currently Mayor representing district Buckhead. He was appointed in 2022. Prior to this, he had served as mayor for three terms.

- The mayor runs the city day to day and prepares the budget each year, meaning that they propose how much funding goes to each city department, including the police department, city parks, transportation, and the fire department.
