An'cel is originally from Florida. He received his bachelor's from Florida A&M University, as well as a diploma as a Barber/Stylist from Atlanta College and Technical Institute. He is highly involved in his church, serving as a deacon, chairman of the trustee board, and as the director of finance.

An'cel has worked as a barber and stylist for 25 years. He owns several barber shops.
