Lenn Wood is the current Sheriff for Coweta County. He was elected in 2019.

Lenn has 17 years of experience with the Newnan Police Department, and 28 years with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office. He has worked in various roles, including as an investigator, sergeant, captain, and jail administrator.

Lenn has a general instructors certification from the United Latino Students Association, and a firearms instructor certification and senior training instructor certification from the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council. He is active in the Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he serves as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and deacon.
