Nicole is currently in the House representing the 49th District of Georgia. She was first elected in 2010 and currently serves as the ranking democrat on the criminal law committee, the Juvenile Justice Committee, and the Technology and Infrastructure Committee.

Dar'shun recently opened up a law firm and business coaching firm in 2023 called Darshun Speaks. In 2017, she opened Kendrick Advisory & Advocacy Group, LLC, a law firm and registered investment advisory firm in Georgia.

Dar’shun is from Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Towers High School in Decatur and went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Communications at Oglethorpe University. After her undergraduate studies, she studied law at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2007. In 2011, she graduated with honors from Kennesaw State University with a Master in Business Administration. Dar’shun currently lives in Lithonia with her dog.
