Jaha is originally from Sacramento, CA, and moved to Atlanta in 1990, graduating from Benjamin E. Mays High School. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and Doctorate of Dental Surgery, both from Howard University, and a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry and master’s degree in oral sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jaha resides in Smyrna with his wife and their three children. He serves as a church deacon and teacher at Renaissance Church of Christ in South Fulton.

Jaha  is pediatric dentist and works at his own practice, A+ Pediatric Dentistry, where he has been for 13 years.

Taniesha is from Michigan. She holds an MBA in international business and a Master's of Public Administration in government and management, both from DeVry University. She currently serves as a volunteer Track and Field Coach with the Cobb County Police Department. 

Taniesha is an executive assistant with Bader Scott Injury Lawyers, where she has been for one year. She also has experience working as the executive assistant to the Deputy Chief of Police of Administrative Services in Cobb County, and as a Chief Ministeries Officer with the Dream Center Church of Atlanta. She also held several positions with the Word of Faith Christian Center, as the Director of Ministerial Operations, Executive Assistant to the Dean of Education, and as Financial Operations Manager.
