Dean has a degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also certified as a General Contractor Qualifying Agent. He and his family moved to the county in 2005.

Dean was previously an account manager and projects manager for Nycom Inc., as well as the vice president of WOJ Installations. He is currently a small business owner.

Scott is originally from Cobb County. He currently resides in Paulding County with his wife, Jeannie, with whom they have four children, and five grandchildren. 

Scott founded Essential Construction Management LLC. He is an Army Veteran, previously serving in the Air Force.
