- They are also responsible for managing the jury system and scheduling juries. 
- Each county elects one circuit court clerk.
- Circuit court clerks' salaries range from $92,603 to $142,877 based on the population level of the county they serve.
- Candidates for clerk must pass a written test about accounting, record-keeping, and personnel policies.
