Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in theology from Welch College, and a master's degree in education from Fayetteville State University. He resides in Clayton with his wife, with whom he has children. 

Jeff currently works as a part-time Driver's Education Instructor. He previously worked as an assistant principal and teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Johnson County. He was also a coach and program specialist for children.
