WIZS, Ayana Lewis Appointed To Fill School Board District 4 Seat

Ayana is from Henderson. She earned her bachelor's degree in child development & family relations from North Carolina Central University, and her master's degree in clinical & mental health counseling from Wake Forest University. Ayana is married.

Ayana has experience as a first grade teacher for Vance County Schools, and as a student and family engagement coordinator for Henderson Collegiate.

Ayana Fritz Lewis is currently a member of the Vance County Board of Education. She was appointed in 2024, and is serving out the rest of this term.
