Danny earned his bachelor's degree in zoology and animal biology from North Carolina State University, and his doctorate degree in chiropractic from Life University. 

Danny is currently the owner of Ellis Chiropractic Center. He was previously the co-owner of Schultz & Ellis Chiropractic, the co-owner of the Whiteville Chiropractic Center, and the co-owner of St. Pauls Chiropractic Center.
