Alex is the director of the Lincoln County Veterans Services Office. He is a a retired Army staff sergeant, where he served for 15 years. 

Alex Patton previously served three consecutive terms on the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners, from 2004 to 2016. He ran twice for the Lincoln County Board of Education in the late 1990’s, but did not win either race.
