Nick Picerno 

Nick earned a bachelor's degree in science teaching from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is married and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. 

Nick currently serves on the Sandhills Center Board of Directors, the Budget Task Force, the Homeless Task Force, the Land Use Plan/UDO Task Force, the Solid Waste Task Force, and the Water/Sewer Task Force.

Nick Picerno currently serves as a Moore County Commissioner, and chairs the commission. He was first elected in 2008 and served until 2016 for 2 terms. He was then appointed to fill a seat on the Board of Commissioners again in 2022, and is serving his first term sequence and his third total term.
