Freddy is a long-time resident of southern Nash County, where he grew up in Bailey and has lived for over 30 years. He is married to, Kesha, and they have 2 daughters. Freddy is also a grandfather.

Freddy has worked in the home improvement industry for 29 years before leaving the corporate sector. He now works at HS Howell Farms, a family farm that he began building after his corporate career.
