Chris Freeman is a native North Carolinian. He attended high school in Asheboro, NC, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from High Point University, followed by a law degree from Regent University. He is an active member of Osborne Baptist Church.

Chris has worked as a district court judge and assistant district attorney for the past 17 years. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 2013, and is a reservist in the JAG Corps, allowing him to provide legal services to the military.

- The Court of Appeals reviews proceedings that occurred in trial courts for errors of law or legal procedure. They decide if the trial court correctly applied the law to the case.
