High Country Press, Erin Grindstaff English Named Avery Register of Deeds Upon Current Register’s Retirement

Erin was raised in the Minneapolis Community of Avery County. She graduated from Avery County High School, and Maryland Community College. Erin is married to her husband, Brandon, with whom she is expecting her first child.

Erin was the assistant register of deeds in Avery County before her election. She has worked for the Avery County Register of Deeds' Office for the past 15 years, and has worked as a deputy register of deeds. 

Erin Grindstaff is currently the register of deeds in Avery County. She was appointed in 2023, and is serving her first term.
