Meet Mike Nelson, Libertarian for NC House 35

Michael is originally from Rochester, NY. He has a degree  in theatre arts from Whittier College, and was a graduate student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Michael has worked at IBM since 1999 as a manager.

Michael Nelson previously ran for state representative of House District 35 in 2018 and 2020, and of House District 40 in 2022, but did not win any race.

Sarah was raised in Wake County and attended East Wake High School. She has a bachelors degree in political science from North Carolina State University. Sarah and her husband Dan have two daughters. She serves on the Ministry Leadership Team at her church and on the Board of Advisors for the NCSU School of Public and International Affairs.
