Ben earned his MBA at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Ben and his wife, Dion, have two children. 

Ben served in the US Air Force for 20 years, finishing as a Lieutenant Colonel. After, he taught high school science in Maryland and North Carolina before returning to Ft. Bragg to work for a military contractor. At Ft. Bragg, Ben trained soldiers on the use of some of military systems.

Mark H. Robinson grew up on a farm in lower Sampson County, specifically in Harrells and Ivanhoe, North Carolina, as one of ten children in his family. He attended Garland Head Start, Bland Elementary, Clear Run Junior High, Union High School, UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University.

Mark H. Robinson has nearly 40 years of business amd military experience that includes service in the US Navy and working at Sikorsky Aircraft. He has held positions at the Special Operations Command in Tampa, FL, the Pentagon, and on the staffs of General Petraeus and General Austin. His military career includes two tours of duty in Iraq.

Rachel received her bachelor of history and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has her her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Rachel Hunt is an attorney who spent the early part of her legal career working for women and children. Prior to her political career, she engaged in volunteer work to support the public school system.

Rachel Hunt is currently representing Senate District 42. She was elected in 2022. Rachel previously held two terms in in the North Carolina House. She was elected in 2018.

- The Lieutenant Governor is the President of the North Carolina Senate, they preside over daily sessions. They can vote as a tiebreaker in the Senate if they are equally divided.
