Dana Caudill Jones was born and raised in Kernersville, NC. She graduated from High Point University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1993. Dana is married to David Jones and together they have one son. She is a member of Reynolda Church.

Dana Caudill Jones is a business leader in Kernersville, NC, who joined her family business, Caudill’s Commercial Electric, after graduation from college. Alongside her husband David Jones, she leads the company that was founded by her father in 1973. Her professional experience includes serving on various boards, such as the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce and the Kernersville Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors.

Dana Caudill Jones has been involved in public office in Kernersville since 2003, when she was elected to the Board of Aldermen, serving for ten years and acting as Mayor Pro Tem from 2011 to 2013. She chose not to run again due to her belief in term limits. Additionally, she has served on the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education from 2015 to 2023 and was the Chair of the board from 2015 to 2018.
