Jenifer earned her bachelor's degree from University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from Stanford Law School.

Jenifer previously served as the director of immigration affairs & special counsel for New York State. She has also worked as a civil rights lawyer and a professor at CUNY’s Lehman College.

Jenifer Rajkumar is an assemblymember in State Assembly District 38. She was first elected to this role in 2020 and is serving her 2nd term.
