About Kevin S. Parker

Kevin is from Brooklyn. He earned his bachelor's degree at Penn State in public service and a master's degree from the New School for Social Research in urban policy and management He has previously volunteered for the New York Ready Emergency Preparedness Unit and Community Board 17’s Education Committee. He lives in Flatbush.

Kevin previously worked for the State Comptroller's office and for UBS PaineWebber. He also worked as an aide to several lawmakers, as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College's Center for Worker Education, and as a New York City Urban Fellow.

Kevin Parker currently serves as a state senator for New York State Senate District. He was first elected in 2002 and has served 11 terms.
