Megan was born and raised in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. SHe earned bachelor's degrees in political science and history from Wilkes University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice. She lives in Plymouth with her husband, Joe.

Megan is the campaign advocacy manager at the School Nutrition Association. Megan previously worked as a field director and organizing director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and For Our Future.
