Jared was born and raised in a small town in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He attended Fleetwood Area School District and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in technology education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Jared lives with his partner Nicole, her mother Carol, and their children.

Jared has been a technology and engineering educator at Fleetwood Area School District for over 25 years.
