Nick was raised in Pierce County. He earned his bachelor's degree from Morehouse College and his law degree from Harvard University. He has 2 children. 

Nick previously served in the U.S. Army, serving in the JAG Corps. He also previously served as the U.S. attorney for Western Washington and as a partner for Pacifica Law Group LLP.

Pete earned his bachelor's degree in Italian from the University of California at Davis, a master's degree in environmental law from the University of Vermont, and his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. He is married to his wife, P.J.  They have 3 children.  

Pete is the general counsel and board president of the Silent Majority Foundation. He previously worked as an environmental lawyer at the United States Department of Energy at Hanford and contributed to the Vermont Department of Natural Resources.
