She has previously volunteered with the Chinook Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association, Sacred Heart Social Concerns, Congregations for the Homeless, The Peace Alliance, NARAL Pro-Choice Washington, Virtue’s Children Nepal, Chrysalis Domestic Violence Center, and the Minnesota International Health Volunteers. She is also a former board member of the Anti-Defamation League Seattle. She lives in Bellevue and has 2 children.
