Beth earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Wheaton College and her master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Gerry earned his bachelor's degree in government from Clark University and his law degree from the University of Washington. He currently lives in Seattle with his spouse, Janet Miller. They have 2 children. 

Gerry works as a faculty member at the University of Washington School of Public Health; and, the College of Environment and Urban Planning at Western Washington University. He has also taught at the at the UW Evans School for Public Policy and Governance and Seattle University School of Law. 

Gerry Pollet is a state representative in State Legislative District 46. He was first elected in 2011 and is serving his 7th term.
