He co-founded the Partnership for Food Security, which focuses on educating Latinos on issues relating to food workers' health.

Dr. Raul currently works as medical director of Astria Toppenish Hospital and the facilities medical director of SCP Health. He previously worked as the CEO of Physicians Rehabilitation and Therapy and as medical director of Lourdes Catholic Medical Center.
