Terry Powell grew up in Dade County, Georgia. He has lived in Trenton for 47 years with his wife Phyllis. They have one son. 

Terry has worked as a coach, manager, and administrator for several athletic programs in Dade Community. 

Terry is currently the City of Trenton Parks and Recreation Commissioner.
