Jason Dozier is an Atlanta native who has always put service above self. After graduating from Denison University with a degree in history and education, Jason joined the United States Army where he served as a reconnaissance officer in both Iraq and Afghanistan, earning both the Army Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star. Jason holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. Jason is a resident of Atlanta’s Mechanicsville community, where he resides with his wife, Claire, and daughters Rayna and Naomi.

Jason is currently a member of the Atlanta City Council, representing District 4. He was elected in 2021 and is serving his first term.

Established Atlanta's first Legacy Business Program to protect historic businesses in District 4.

Collaborated with the Atlanta Braves Foundation and Truist Bank to invest in new park amenities for youth.

Advocates for improved infrastructure, including better roads, sidewalks, and public transportation.

Supports prioritizing pedestrian safety and maintaining affordable housing as a budget priority.

Supports policies that promote affordable housing development and protect tenants from displacement.

Supports increased funding for the Atlanta Police Department and community policing initiatives to build trust between law enforcement and the community.
