Kevin is from Asheville, North Carolina. He attended Davie High School in Davie County. He has an Associate of Applied Science degree in architectural technology and space design from Forsyth Technical Community College. He lives with his partner, Guy, in the Washington Park community of Winston-Salem.

Kevin is an administrative assistant at the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office, where he has been for five years. He previously worked as a victim-witness legal assistant at the same office starting in 2001, as a deputy courtroom clerk for the Forsyth County Clerk of Superior Court’s Office, and as an office assistant for the State of North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety’s Community Service Work Program.
