Carol has lived in Baldwin County with her husband for 9 years. They have 3 sons and 1 grandson, and the family identifies as Christian. Carol earned her bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Carol is currently retired. She owned a company that taught first aid and CPR mostly for healthcare providers for 24 years. She also owned a horse farm, but sold it and donated her privately owned horses to the Girl scouts in past years. Finally, she also has experience as a flight attendant and dental hygienist.
