Rebecca Spitler is currently serving as a Council Member representing Berekely Lake. She was first elected in January of 2008 and has been in office for three terms. She has held the Mayor Pro Tempore role since 2010.

Rebecca Spitler is the city's representative to the Georgia Land Trust. She has also been the President of that organization in January of 2009.

Rebecca lives with her husband, Rex, and their two children, in Berkeley Lake where they have been since 2002. Rebecca received her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and a master's degree from the University of Southern California.
