Linda Ledbetter is currently a council member representing district five. She was first elected in 2015 and has been in office for two terms. Prior to being a council member, Linda served one term on Forsyth County's Board of Commissioners from 2004 to 2008.

Linda works as the Executive Director of Age Well Forsyth. She previously worked as a teacher at Forsyth Central High School and a college professor.

Linda has a bachelor’s degree in arts from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in arts from the University of North Georgia, an education specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University, and a PhD of philosophy in higher education and administration from Capella University.
