Rhonda L. James is currently a city council member. She was first elected in 2015 and has been in office for two terms.

Rhonda worked as the chief financial officer at Dalton Utilities for 20 years. She also worked as a controller at Chattem Chemicals for 20 years.

Rhonda earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She holds a master's degree in business administration, as well as a human resources specialist certificate.
