Carol has lived in Mountain Park for 38 years. She has a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in applied linguistics.

Carol is retired. She used to teach English language arts and English to speakers of other languages in Georgia public schools for 32 years. She also coached drama, produced dinner theater, and taught ballet and tap dance.
