Marc Cohen is currently the Sugar Hill city council member representing Post 2. He was elected in 2004 and has served five terms. He also served as mayor pro tem of Sugar Hill in 2011, 2014, and 2023. He is the founding chair of the Sugar Hill Arts Commission, the chair of the Gwinnett County Police Citizen Advisory Board, and the president of the Georgia Municipal Association.

Marc Cohen is a vice president of global marketing and communications. He works at Pyramid Consulting and Celsior Technologies. He is also a managing director at Green Bow Consulting and a senior supervisor at ShowPros Entertainment Services. He previously worked at ACS Group, MMS Partners, MModal, UPS, McKesson, Epicor Software, e-Solutions, Talus Solutions, Contemporary Services Corporation, and Avis.

Marc Cohen is from Winnetka, Illinois. He attended New Trier High School. He has a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business from the University of California-Los Angeles. He also has a masters of business administration degree in business administration, marketing, and management from San Francisco State University.
