Christina Hobbs is currently a city council member for Union City. She is also mayor pro tem and the vice president of the Union City Housing Authority Development, Inc. She used to be the vice chair of the Union City Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.

Christina is retired. She is also a substitute teacher for the Fulton County School System. She used to be on the board of regents for the University System of Georgia, where she worked for 23 years. She also used to work for the University of California, Los Angeles and Georgia Institution of Technology. She used to work in academic healthcare and international banking.

Christina has lived in Georgia for 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree, a master's degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a doctor of education in educational leadership from Argosy University in Atlanta. She has a son.
